1% Doubt is 0% Faith

We were not created to live an average life.  A life of being comfortable.  A risk free life.  A small existence.  We were meant for greatness.  God doesn't want us playing small in our life HE wants us to let our light shine so others will be drawn to the light and want their light to shine.  When we live in our comfort zone we are not growing or inspiring anyone, including ourselves.  When we live an average, risk free, small life we are not honoring God and allowing Him to work in us to let His light shine through us.  When we are always living for the weekend, going to a job we hate, dreading Monday and just existing we are not living our life with purpose and honoring God.  The little voice inside your head that says you have to live this way because you have to pay your bills, be responsible and you can't survive if you don't because this is the only way you know how to do it; IS A LIE!!  It is keeping you stuck and unable to live life to your full potential and the purpose God created you for.  God cannot show you your true purpose if you do not have faith and put your trust in Him and His plan for your life.  He does not call the equipped; he equips the called. “May the God of peace  . . .  equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” Hebrews 13:20–21 (NIV)
So often we doubt God and do not give him the opportunity to build our faith.  When we doubt that we can do it we are really doubting God and showing Him that we do not have faith in Him or His word. 
Do you feel like you were born for more than what you are living.  I sure do.  Since I was young I have felt that I was going to do great things in my life and I realize that is what God wants.  He wants His light to shine through me so that others can see Him through me.  For the past two years I have been praying hard for God to give me a sign and I believe he has given me several signs I was just a little slow in hearing Him.  What I have discovered is that I will never know for sure until I quit living in my comfort zone and step outside the box, experience life and put my trust in God.  So today I chose to give up doubt...in myself, in my ability, and most of all doubt in God and I CHOSE to have FAITH in God that he will do as he promised and equip me for what he has in store for my life.   I pray that you too will listen to what God is leading you to do in your life and let your light shine bright.  What do you chose today?  Doubt or Faith because you can't have both.
